Beautiful Dragons Breath opal pendant
This lovely pendant is hard to find these days and I’m selling as a collector item. Is also called Mexican Glass Opal, Glass Jelly Opal or Glass Fire Opal.

Please note that this is a used item. However, it is very difficult to find in so marvellous conditions these days and have loads of mysticism involving this kind of pieces of art.
According to the guide http://reviews.ebay.com/Will-the-real-Dragon-apos-s-Breath-stone-please-stand-up_W0QQugidZ10000000010402736 extracted from www.ebay.com, “ Dragons breath was made by adding metal to the molten glass. This is what gives it the electric blue and purple flashes or ripples inside the stone. The stone is usually seen in an oval or round cabochon shape (rounded and smooth top), but you will see other shapes.

More about Murano glass:
Murano glass is a famous product of the Venetian island of  Murano. Located off the shore of Venice, Italy, Murano has been a commercial port as far back as the 7th century. By the 10th century, the city had become well-known for its glassmakers, who created unique Murano glass.[citation needed]
While Murano glassmakers have settled and operate elsewhere, some say authentic Murano glass is fabricated only in Murano. For more information, please check the Wikipedia link talking about it:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murano_glass

More information about Damascene style:
Damascene “Damasquinado de Oro or “Damasquino” is the art of decorating non-precious metals with gold. It has roots in the Middle Ages and originates from the oriental-style artisan work done in Damascus, Syria. The craft, perfected by the Arabs and brought with them to Spain, has remained virtually unchanged over the centuries.
Damascene items generally reflect two distinct traditional types of patterns; the Arabesque or geometric designs, and the Renaissance motifs, displaying variations of birds and flowers. These patterns are obtained by engraving deep, patterned cuts into steel and then placing a gold foil into the lines of the design. This foil is hammered until the gold (18/greenish and 24/yellow carat) penetrates into the cuts, forming the design. Each piece is treated with a bluing solution to obtain oxidation and a black background is created. The back of all Damascene pieces are finished with gold metal.
Toledo is the world’s largest center of production of Damascene. The city of Toledo is one of the richest historically and culturally endowed cities in all of Spain. The Damascene style is also used in Japan.
